Who we are

Bootgly is an open-source PHP framework created by Rodrigo Vieira and maintained with its contributors. The websites bootgly.com and docs.bootgly.com are operated by Codecious — Rodrigo de Araujo Vieira Tecnologia da Informação LTDA, a Brazilian technology company based in São Paulo — and served through Cloudflare.

What we collect

The websites have no user accounts and no sign-up forms, and we run no analytics scripts. The bootgly.com website shows ads through a third-party advertising partner (currently Google AdSense) once you consent (see Advertising below); docs.bootgly.com shows no ads.

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs — IP address, user agent and the requested URL — used strictly for security and operational purposes, under Cloudflare’s own retention policies.

A single first-party cookie stores your language preference. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Advertising on bootgly.com

When you accept advertising in the consent banner, the bootgly.com website loads our advertising partner (currently Google AdSense). That provider acts as an independent controller of the data it collects to serve and measure ads — such as cookies, device identifiers, IP address and ad interactions — under its own privacy policy (for Google: policies.google.com/privacy).

If you reject, no advertising scripts or cookies load. While Google AdSense is the current provider, you can change ad personalization anytime at myadcenter.google.com. docs.bootgly.com shows no ads.

The documentation AI assistant

The AI assistant on docs.bootgly.com processes the questions you type through Cloudflare Workers AI, only to produce an answer from the documentation content. Questions are not linked to your identity and are not used to train models.

The installer

The install script at bootgly.com/install is a static file. Everything it does runs on your machine: it checks your environment, clones public GitHub repositories and starts the project wizard. It sends no data back to us.

Email

If you email public@bootgly.com or cybersec@bootgly.com, we use your address only to reply to you.

Your rights

Since we hold essentially no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to export or erase. For any privacy question or request, contact public@bootgly.com.

Changes

When this policy changes, this page and its date are updated. Meaningful changes are noted in the project changelog.
